“An Avalanche of Challenges… Lessons Confirmed From My Doozie of a Week!!”
I’m BACK & I’m on the beach!! Check out what’s been going on!
Sometimes we have a whole avalanche of challenges that seem to occur all at once… I had a doozie of a week last week!! Have you ever felt as though everything is crashing down on you all at once? What is one to do?
Here is the First Valuable Lesson that I want to share with you:
Sometimes you need to take a little Breather or Break to Regroup. It’s OK!
(I will share more on how I overcame it all… in the next few Blogs this week, so come back soon for the rest of the juicy stuff!)
Bella Lessons for the Day:
If you’re going through some big challenges & not feeling yourself, give yourself permission to allow yourself to take a breather or a break. Listen to what you need at the moment. It’s ok…
Why a Breather?
• You need to feel what you’re feeling… It’s not healthy to sweep your feelings under the rug. The more you try to ignore it, the more it persists sometimes. Let yourself feel, grieve & then let it go.
• Sometimes you need to take some deep breaths – let out the negative energy that may be building & fill yourself back up with fresh, beautiful, new air & energy! That’s why it’s called a “breather”!
• Taking a break gives you the space to allow you to come back to your powerful self! Take time for yourself.
• Don’t beat yourself up or feel guilty… you’re supposed to take breaks. They are necessary! Be kind to yourself. What would you tell your best friend? Follow your own advice!
• You’ll be more productive when you are feeling more powerful. While you’re not, rest & take care of yourself…
• Just don’t get stuck! While it’s ok to grieve, you must let it go and move on. More in the next few blogs on how to avoid getting stuck & how to powerfully move forward. Stay tuned…
Meanwhile, if you can’t wait & would like to know more of what worked for me RIGHT NOW, take a look at this free preview chapter from my book, A Bella Life. It’s the chapter on Peace – and it pretty much covers all the stuff I re-tested & followed last week in order to overcome my challenges. As usual, you are doing a great job. It is important to allow ourselves to take a break. So often I find myself plowing through everything that I need to do without giving myself a little moment to enjoy, yes enjoy, myself in the middle of all the chaos around me. I am constantly thinking of the things I need to do and I need the reminder to breathe every now and then to allow myself a moment of rest so that I can have the energy to keep moving forward. 1 – 2 – 3 – B R E A T H E . . . okay Coach Bela, I’m ready. What’s next?
Hi Bela!
I, too, had a breather week of sorts, in the wilderness of northern Canada. I was invited out to spend a week with new friends, and we jumped into very challenging physically active stuff- even white water rafting on level 4 & 5 waters (they say 6 is death…). It required me to tap into parts of myself not called upon regularly, including using muscles I forgot I had! It was thrilling and exhausting, and wonderful to meet new, amazing people.
Lessons & photos are forthcoming, as with your experience.
Big hug from a fellow sojourner. xo
I definitely need a brake, after vacations in Hawaii, I was busy thinking how I can improve in everything I do. It seemed as if I was never on vacations. I did enjoy my time there it’s just mentally, I need a brake just to be lazy don’t turn on computer and watch movies all day and relax and turn off my phone, will take that brake here soon. Thank you for reminding us how important it is.
Bela, it is wonderful to have you back and see you at that beautiful beach. I will be taking a breather today. As usual you are INSPIRING.
